I don't suggest what prairie dog said.. it will ruin the suede.. use some warm water.. and lightly soak it.. then come back later.. and use a suede cleaner and rub it off gently.. read the instruction and be sure it is to be used on suede ... first.....
Waterstop is a good suede protector which is tested well for furniture protection. It is an aerosol spray and will go a long way on boots, but it does need to be applied fairly regularly.
mine's microfiber, not suede, but i use stanley steemer and it looks great when they're done. 1-800-steemer. call and ask if they do suede. for mine it cost $12 a linear foot, measured around the back of the couch.
